GULF HERITAGE MUSTANG

A Very Cool Tribute

Like many of you, I spend too much time on social media, especially this time of year, dreaming of warmer weather and the return of automotive events.

However, one night while lurking around on one of the Mustang groups, I ran across some pics of Sean Amrstorg's Mustang, knowing I needed to learn more about it. Of course, the first thing that draws you in is the beautiful Gulf blue & orange racing livery.

So I reached out to Sean and ask about thecar. He told me it was #1 of 3 built by Brown Lee Ford, now Reddick Brown Ford and Hennessey Performance. This car was built for the CEO of Gulf Oil, but due to Covid, it couldn't be shipped overseas. Sean told me he had been looking at the car for some time and decided to see what kind of deal he could get by trading in his Roush Mustang. The agreement was made and Sean picked up the Gulf Mustang. Sean is a cargo pilot from Sharps Chapel, TN and his first Mustang was a 98 GT and then he moved on to a 2004 Cobra and a few Roush Mustangs.

Thiscar is 1 of 3 built and officially licensed by Gulf Oil.
