Mustang RTR Co-Driver Adam LZ’s Flashy Formula Drift Ride Is Ready To Rock

Heading into its first season with Formula Drift legend Vaughn Gittin Jr. sliding out of the driver seat and into the team owner‘s role, there is a new driver in the Mustang RTR Drift Team stable. The former Formula D rookie of the year, Adam LZ joins forces with Chelsea Denofa in a formidable pairing.

Adam LZ revealed his brightly hued ride for this season’s Formula Drift campaign. He will compete alongside teammate Chelsea Denofa as part of the Mustang RTR Drift Team tandem.

“I have an unwavering belief to always surrounded myself with the best ingredients to strive for success. Bringing Adam to our team is something I am personally very excited about and will without a doubt be a large part of RTR’s evolution into the future as he is the full package on and off the track,” Gittin said.“We have the type of opportunity that most only dream of, made possible by AutoZone and the best performing automotive products in the world. Recently Denofa revealed his Mustang’s new livery, so it was naturally LZ’s turn to showoff his new stallion for the 2022 season. With bright colors that fade from yellow in the front to ebony in the rear, the new livery highlights a litany of sponsors —including AutoZone, Pennzoil, TYPE S, NGK/NTK, and OPTIMA Batteries —that support the team this season.

The revamped Mustang RTR Drift Team debuted in Formula Drift action at Round 1: Streets of Long Beach, which ran from April 1-2. LZ finished in 18th place, while teammate Chelsea Denofa finished in fifth. The duo will return to Formula D action at

Round2: Road Atlanta, which runs from May 6-7.
