The combined Mustang Club of America (MCA) 50th Anniversary and Shelby American Automotive Club (SAAC) 51st Anniversary event at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta successfully brought together approximately 500 total show vehicles and thousands of enthusiasts for an action-packed weekend of track time and car displays.
Event Breakdown and Atmosphere: By utilizing the world-renowned 2.54-mile road course near Atlanta, Georgia, the event perfectly bridged the gap between pristine, trailered concourse examples and high-performance track machines conquering the circuit's iconic 12 turns.
Vehicle Turnout: MCA packed the designated paddock areas with a capacity-limited 400 vehicles, while SAAC brought nearly 100 classic and modern Shelby models, resulting in a highly curated, dense display of Ford performance history.
Spectator Draw: Several thousand spectators attended, creating a vibrant community atmosphere centered around celebrating legendary automotive heritage.
Car Classes: Displays ranged from battle-tested daily drivers driven hundreds of miles through mixed weather to immaculate, climate-controlled concourse specimens rarely exposed to the elements.
